CommCon is running in London and San Francisco in June this year!

Last week we announced that CommCon is back and with a rather exciting twist for 2024. CommCon is going on tour rather than our usual residential conference format. This means that we’ll be in London and San Francisco in June for only £199 and $199 if you grab earlybird tickets. This is only made possible by our amazing sponsor Cloudflare who are hosting us at their offices in both locations - we are thrilled to have Cloudflare along for the ride!

    What’s New? Two locations!

We know that budgets are tighter this year and so we decided to change formats so that we could run an event that was more accessible; both in price and in terms of the travel required to get there - in the heart of London and San Francisco, we’re going to be less than an hour away from well served international airports.

    What Else is New? Hackathons!

Both events will comprise of a ‘relaxed hackathon’ on day one, and a conference day on day two. The hackathon element is still in the planning stages right now but what can you expect from it? Well, we believe that hackathons have become too competitive and less ‘fun’ than they used to be and ultimately that’s something we’d like to change.

The hackathon will only be open to those attending the conference, and we won’t have huge prizes up for grabs from a load of sponsors, but of course we will have some fun goodies to share.

Ultimately it’ll be a great opportunity to build something (that you own the intellectual property to) with some APIs that not many others would have had the chance to play with - a fun, relaxed day of playing with new tech is what we’re going for - I’m hugely excited about the possibilities for creating new things at both events.

    What About The Conference?

What can you expect from the conference day itself? 20-30 minute talks from the very best in the media industry, both real time and traditional media delivery. Everything you’d expect from CommCon in terms of quality remains. We’ll have more news on sessions and speakers soon - the CFP is currently open, just hit the button below for details

    Supporting CommCon

We’ve already got 4 sponsors lined up - we’re hugely thankful to each and every one of them - thanks to WebRTC.Ventures, Sipgate, Teluu and Pion.

If you’d like to help make CommCon the very best it can be, we’re looking for more sponsors; sponsorship covers both locations so you’ll get double the exposure!
