CommCon in 2025

2024 was a great year for us as a business and a team, and we want to start off by thanking all of you for being with us for all of it. Your ongoing support is what makes this community as strong as it is, and we hope you'll continue to find value in what we do.

We ran two successful events this year - one in London and our first outside of the UK, in San Francisco. Cloudflare very kindly supported us with those events by offering us their amazing spaces. Both events gave us an opportunity to catch up with old friends and expand our understanding of this ever-changing and growing industry.

We have always prided ourselves on putting on high-quality, meaningful events; it is the cornerstone of who we are as a business. We have been upfront and honest about the fact that doing that has become increasingly challenging as the years have gone on, with increasing costs, travel restrictions, a global pandemic and the resulting overhang, and financial constraints caused by global economics. After considering all of these challenges, and wanting to maintain our existing standards, we have decided not to run an in-person event for 2025.

We are even more disappointed by this than you are, but it is important to us that we do not compromise on providing the best possible experience for all of our attendees, so we are going to take this year to regroup and strategise on how we continue to provide that experience in a sustainable way in the future.

Fear not though, we are not disappearing for a year. We are going to be investing a lot of time in building a new online community experience, aimed at providing information, support and connection in the way that our physical events have always done. We are excited to explore this new medium and hope that you'll all come along on the ride with us as our community grows into a more accessible space.

Keep a look out for more news on our online community, coming soon.

    Have a great 2025 everyone!

    - Team CommCon
