CommCon Call for Proposals closes TOMORROW

    Time to submit!

Red alert, CommCon crew: you have just over 24 hours left to submit your talks for CommCon London and CommCon San Francisco this June.

    Deadline: 23.59 GMT Tue 26 March 2024.

Ready to send it in? Hit the button below!

"I've got an idea but I'm not sure if it's a good fit"

We welcome all your ideas covering real-time comms and open media. We've got a list of possible topics on our Speakers page and on the CFP for ease.

If you're still trying to figure out if your idea is a good fit or how to frame it, we're happy to chat! Email Dan: [email protected] to discuss.

"I don't know if I can speak at both events"

That's cool, we're not expecting everyone to be able to speak at both London and San Frnacisco (though we'd love it if you did want to speak at both!).

The CFP form contains a question about which event you'd like to speak at so you can let us know there which is your preference.

"I'm new to speaking at events and I'm nervous about submitting a talk"

Don't be nervous :) Everyone has to start somewhere, and we're always really pleased to welcome new people into the community. We're a friendly bunch and we're proud to foster a supportive environment. If you've got a great idea, we want to hear from you. If you have any questions about the event, just send us an email: [email protected]

"I don't have time to come up with an idea before the deadline"

We do our utmost for CommCon community but we haven't yet figured out a way to stop time yet. Whilst we're working on that, we suggest submitting an outline for your talk and filling in the details later.

    Any other questions or issues?

If you've got another Q that we haven't taken care of here, drop us a line: [email protected]

That's all for now, happy submitting, folks.

p.s. Don't forget earlybird tickets are ending on Fri 5th April, grab your tickets today.
